School Information

This section controls the information used in administrative reports for systems such as LURITS and SA-SAMS.

Check the school’s information by visiting Administration → Site Administration → Edit School Information. Pay special attention to the fact that there are three tabs of information and there is information on all of those tabs that needs to be completed.

Please remember to save any changes you make using the button at the bottom of the screen.

Principal Details

The School Info tab has a Principal Details heading, with Principal’s Initials, Principal’s Surname, Principal’s Telephone and Principal’s Cellphone. Update these whenever the school has a new principal. ADAM sends the initials and surname in the LURITS export.

The SA-SAMS export does not use these details. SA-SAMS takes the principal from the staff records instead. See The School Principal on the SA-SAMS Export page.
